26th September 2021 Windsurfing: Rhosneigr Wind Direction: S Wind Stength: F6/F7 Surf / Sea State: Wave and chop Air Temperature: 18 Sea Temperature: 16.8 Weather: Overcast then sun Max Speed: Distance Covered: Grab it whilst you can so went out around high rather than wait for better conditions later. Anything from 4m-5m would have done as gusty, 4.7m was good for me well powered most of the time and enough to keep going in lulls, though smaller board would have been better in chop but didn't take as didn't expect it to be so windy. Waves were poorly formed, and when nice didn't last long. Got a few turns in but waves disappeared. Tried one on almost logo high but tripped up in surf. Tired after almost 2 hours and pleased to keep going that long after long absence from Rhosneigr and wind. Drizzle to start but ended in blue skies, warm sunshine and blue sea. |
